Round and Round the Garden

Went to Harlow Carr for some ideas for my new succulents.
Drove the scenic route and saw lots of hay bales which l did say we might stop on the way back to take photographs.
Busy for a Monday but it is in the middle of August so no surprise really.
Doing my usual oohs and ahhs as we saw beauty after beauty making mental notes for new ideas in my garden.
This little garden is a favourite, if only l had a big enough garden to copy this!
Stopped at Betty’s Kiosk and had lunch outside including a fat rascal and curd tart.
Used my £5 voucher too.
On the way to the woodland we were hit by an intense cloudburst and took shelter under the trees.
It was so beautiful to watch and it soon passed so we made our way to the exit and l bought four new plants to replace some l’ve lots due to the dry weather and a bag of Alpine grit for the succulent display.
Called at another garden centre on the way home and have bought a container so lm just about to start my project.
Would really like a zinc baby bath for the succulents but l don’t suppose l will come across one of those easily.
Didn’t get the haystacks as we got another cloudburst on the way back.
Would like to think l could go back later in the week but they will have their plastic macs on by then.
