Caught the ......

..... sun!!
We haven't seen much sun today, but here it is shinning through the Eucryphia tree. This tree has usually had blooms from low down up to the top, but this year it only seems to have bloomed at the top, don't know whether it's to do with this years hot spell or not.
I'm off out to my Monday reading group tonight , as the group is so much bigger we have lots of opinions which makes for an interesting evening.
"A" wanted to paint the gate ( yet to be erected )! but as it looked like rain earlier decided not too. I think that was the right decision but it means yet another delay.

Grateful ..... that the cool air persists, for a while anyway but hope we get some more heat for those on holiday.
