Off to Scotland

An early start marked the start of my visit to Edinburgh. My blip is looking at the roof of Kings Cross station from the train at the start of the third leg of my journey.
Friend R met me at Waverley Station and I firstly unpack then after a quick supper we had a book festival event with David Cannadine, a historian (very interesting, but a bit like being at a lecture), then a fringe event about the Field Auxiliary Nursing Yeomanry - you can work out the acronym that caused a certain amount of amusement. A good start to a busy week. Along but enjoyable. day.
