Anniemay begged me to take her to see Stephenson's Rocket on display as part of the 'Great Exhibition of the North'.  

"I want you to understand why it was such a game-changer, with its single pair of driving wheels"  she says over breakfast "it was the first locomotive with an 0-2-2 wheel arrangement."

"And afterwards, could we go to a couple of guitar shops? - I don't have enough photos of you playing guitars yet".

I'd rather set my heart on a bit of clothes shopping and a visit to an Art Gallery to see a load of old paintings.  But she says it all so reasonably that it's hard to refuse.

So that's what we do.

I took a few extras as we trudged round.
