Training or obstinate Lab?

I took a couple of photos of Jonty and Foxy on this mornings walk but this really tickled me and made me smile.
I'm not sure if this young lady was teaching her Labrador to sit, stay or wait, but with the long extending lead it looked like she wanted it to move and it was just going to stay put.
Aren't dogs just great HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
