Fruits of Nature

There seem to be a lot of hazelnuts in our garden, or at least there are those spiky cases which indicate that the squirrels have been enjoying a feast off the trees.  I was surprised to see a lot of acorns on the ground when we went on our walk this afternoon, but I guess they have been blown off by the stronger winds of today.

Makes it seem quite autumnal!

Trip to London tomorrow.  Weather forecast indicates that there will be photography in the rain!  We shall see.
