We had a call in the morning from M to say that he had been caught up in this.
A car ran into some cyclists and then headed towards the Houses of Parliament where it ran into a barrier.

A couple of the cyclists were hurt. M’s bike was a bit bent but he was OK.

After giving a statement to the police, he calmed down in St James’s Park, sorted his bike out and went home - not feeling like talking to people about it at work.

In the afternoon he went back out on his other bike.

His morning ride eventually appeared on Strava and, as a caring Dad, I pointed out that his average speed for the ride was a bit low...
