I spotted the half-dozen parachutes from a distance as I was driving into town, but by the time I got there, parked, and got my camera out all but two of them had landed. It's impressive how they can jump from such a great height, and all land within a couple of metres of each other. We once met a precision parachutist in the Pyrenees. He said the target was a dot on the ground about the size of the palm of your hand, and the aim -- which he often achieved -- was to land with your heel on it.

A nice sunny, breezy day with nothing much happening -- feeling lazy after our late night.
