Dragonfly days

The endless days of heat and humidity continue, but this dragonfly was unfazed and closely taking me in with his amazing 360 degree vision.

Dragonflies have near-360-degree vision, with just one blind spot directly behind them. This day came in as all the others this summer, hot and extremely humid. I had to of my painting mates here today and we had so much fun with our brushes and oils. I started a new canvas, a painting from our Icelandic trip last October.
