Today and 1994

We had a visit from Swedish friends today for lunch, lobster salad, fresh corn and tomatoes from our farm share. Agneta was last here in 1994, you can see us in the 'way back machine' photos in the collage. Since then we have seen her most recently in 2009 in Sweden at a restaurant gathering. Today we had the pleasure of meeting her Lasse as well. It was a wonderful afternoon, with many shared memories and new ones made.. She and Lasse know our "Swedish family" as well. Those folks are in Italy celebrating their Lasse's birthday.

This day came in warm and lovely, a perfect summer day.

I have a small poison ivy rash on my FACE from doing some brush clearing. I'm not happy about it, we have a party to go to on Saturday, who knows what it will look by then!
