The Birdcage

Today I went through to Musselburgh to meet my friend K. for a light lunch & catch up at The Birdcage, Musselburgh.

I'd seen Groupon vouchers advertising this place many times and it looked ideal for a girlie catch up and hear all about the expected new arrival!

The resturant was warm, the staff helpful and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Looking out onto the courtyard was very peaceful & quiet.

When the other half came to collect me, the two of us ended up staying for a pot of tea. In his wisdom K. decided to give Earl Grey tea a go and his face was a picture drinking his "perfume tea" heehee
