Badgered Off...........

Huge entry done and disappeared into the ether...………………..
Not happy.
Will redo later when Tattoo pictures are done and before my memory also disappears.

Okay ……… 3rd attempt for this entry (Blipcentral has been notified - interestingly there was a problem  doing that too).

We had breakfast with Mrs MacMr GrumpyBig Col and Castors to arrange details for later in the day when we were all going to The Tattoo (along with Gogs and his wife who were 'running late').

The kids had been good all morning - even sitting at their own table to colour in and then going and playing in the playground without constantly nipping back to speak.
Before we left the garden centre we went to look at the underwater …...'stuff'.
It was then on to Beecraigs Country Park where the kids did a drop-in arts class. Boy it was windy and cold up there ….. not a good omen for sitting on the castle esplanade.

After dropping Squirrel off at gymnastics we headed off to the The Larder as usual.
As soon as I walked in I was grabbed and thanked for the pictures I had taken and sent to them a couple of weeks ago. I was also told to 'keep on snapping' and they would like to get some black & white and colour. I am not sure this is what they meant when the asked for both colour and black & white. There is a baking course coming up which is why cake pops were being made. I am quite happy to help them cut down on their expenditure by donating some pictures to them.

We got away as soon as we could and quickly got changed into warmer, waterproof (just in case) clothes and headed up to Grumpy Towers to leave the car, meet up with Gogs and get the train into town.

When we got off the train a quick phone call revealed that the other 4 were eating. So much for the plan to wait until we got there! We arrived as they were finished - so we basically took over their slot which was fair enough because all the eateries were heaving. The waitress was an absolute hoot.

I am glad to say that the rain stayed off but it was sufficiently windy to mean that there was no fireworks display at the end of The Tattoo.
We had great seats, right above the 'tunnel' halfway up the esplanade which meant no people in front of us.
Some of my shots Start Here with a nice smiling face.
