Fun and Games

The reasonable weather had brought quite a few people to town today.  We went for a spot of lunch at Pret; outside a singer was drawing a large appreciative crowd.

We walked back through Bell Court.  The powers that be had laid on public entertainment.  On offer was giant jenga, giant chess, two table tennis tables complete with bat and ping pong balls.  And to cap it all a blues and jazz band was setting up their equipment, the drummer giving an occasional roll.  Bell Court has become a pleasant meeting, sitting area, surprisingly in my opinion, an improvement on the 'old' Bell Court/Town Square.

Ann and I had a quick knock around of table tennis, it must be at least ten years since we've played, the most exercise, in my case, was chasing and picking up the ball.
