Indulgence in Vienna - day1

My sister and I caught the train to Vienna this morning for our trip to Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest. We were able to leave our luggage at our rented apartment before check in time then explored the local market next door for lunch. Had a fabulous Austrian style antipasta platter then headed off to the Rathaus (town hall) where there is an outdoor Summer Cinema and international food festival. Our first stop was an Aperol bar where the queues were long but the service slick. We had Aperol g’spritzt with Prosecco and a slice of orange. The bartender lined up 8 glasses at a time and the locals ordered the drinks in 2s or 3s to save queuing, a tip we will save for next time. The drinks are served with ice so they stay cold. This girl seems to be thinking I see what you are doing but I don’t mind.
We had Greek barbecued calamari and salad then called in to an ice cream salon on the way back to catch the tram back to our apartment.
