Fundraisers....

Family members, Hannah and Alex and Kevin their cat, returned to their property in Marahau, Nelson district, this morning. The house is very quiet. But Sam returns here from a weekend at home in Nelson this evening. He’ll be doing and early shift at Wairau Hospital tomorrow morning.
This afternoon Keith and I went to the Lions annual Book Fair. The venue was a large building and there were thousands of secondhand books on offer.... Each priced $2.00. I bought a number of gardening and plant books all in excellent condition with our gardening family members in mind. Three lovely girls, students from Marlborough Girls College, were fundraising by running a Sausage Sizzle at the entrance to the venue.
