The accidental finding

Brizzle airport

We got to Feria, Extremadura province, Spain, at about midnight. The day was fraught: the house sitter hadn't turned up but we had to leave anyway (she'd got stuck in traffic and missed us by minutes); when we got to the airport we tried the credit card that was supposed to be used to pay for the hire car and the excess and the PIN was declared invalid; we got to Seville and Steve couldn't get his other bank details because they were all in the cloud; we couldn't find the bus to the car rental place and it was growing dark...

Then we were shown the minibus, the rental car was ok, the PIN worked; I'd brought the SatNav just in case; the directions were perfect, and two hours later we had arrived at our friends' village house!

I was so relieved that I drank far too much red wine! Now I have a hangover.

This is the unlovely scene at Bristol airport, outside the shop where our PIN was declined. A similar thing happened at Stansted airport last year...
