Over the garden wall

We're back where we belong, at beautiful Baile-na-Cille on the Isle of Lewis. This was the view from the dining room window during dinner this evening.

Our journey here was very easy by tram to the airport, plane to Stornoway, and taxi to the house. We had hoped to catch the bus from town, but the flight arrived too late for us to make the connection.

We have left our flat in the care of our nephew Paddy and his girlfriend Caitlin for the week that we are away. First thing this morning we introduced them to one of our running routes along the cycle paths. This is so that they can keep up their fitness training while on holiday. They normally take part in a park run on Saturdays. We showed them a 'three park run' today: St Mark's; Victoria; and George V.

Exercise today: 36 minute run, airport walking (15,002 steps including run)
