Loch Striven skyscape

Today was that afternoon when we go from back to front windows, looking south and then north to try to gauge where the better weather is before we decide on a walk. Today we chose well, and the clouds gradually cleared over Loch Striven and the temperature rose to 20ºC.

Here I'm looking towards the sea, with the fuel terminal on the left of the loch, a large ship moored alongside. In the distance, to the right, you can make out the faint blue outline of the Arran hills. The clouds are clearing, and will continue to clear to give the perfect evening I've just looked out at - stars and scented stillness.

I'm glad summer has returned for however brief a time ...
