Waving, not Drowning

Another memorable day at R and M's, in Lisbon. Walked to their local church, where the priest gave an excellent homily, and then home, via coffee and Martinis, to yet another incredible spread, including two octopi, in all their tentacled splendour (which we are learning to appreciate).

Then for a wander around the northern end of Belém, where we'd not been before, including the new Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology (MAAT), which was designed by a woman, Amanda Levete, born in Wales, and who also designed Birmingham's famous Selfridge building. Loved it. Our lot are on the roof, waving.

Then dinner in the Baixa, a ginjinha to end with, and driving home, collecting Lula, and it's now 2am, and sorry for lack of time on Blip - not easy on a phone while being driven...

And last night, we ended up at Boca do Inferno (Mouth of Hell), might go back and say more and post another photo on yesterday's entry tomorrow.
