Hiked the blue trail

It did not rain. I hiked the supposedly more rigorous trail with weight in my backpack. I think it is good training, and it gives me an opportunity to test what I want to carry and what I don't - like a little solar panel on top of the pack? A gimbal in the pack? 

This is a historic area. The blue trail shows it more than the red one with many more plaques explaining how hard the ascent was for soldiers or that all the stones were for walls or homes and that Lincoln considered hiking it until it got too steep and decided he didn't really need to.
