Mono- compact-walnut

Nuts and seedpods must be some of nature's most compact items.
I had some walnuts on hand so you can see how tightly they fit in.

We have had heavy rain so the usual lake has filled the back yard. It is cold with snow blocking mountain passes further south.
I renewed our passports online today. A reasonably easy process. I still got the chemist to take the photos and email to us already checked. We don't have any plans to go overseas but you have to be prepared just in case. We will be allowed out but with faces like the passport has, will they let us back in?!!!
