a delight

We went into Leicester today for cheese, fresh fruit and veg, and some black fleece. A lovely morning browsing round the market. A couple of my favourite stallholders were there including the ribbon gentleman. This is a small selection of what he sells - so many ribbons, braids, cotton and lace. I always buy something (well, many things) from him whenever I see him. Had to buy some black fleece to make Jim's ankle length poncho that he asked for. He sat with me and designed it all himself. I'm hoping to get it finished for Thursday when he's next round. I have so many projects on the go at the same time that I'm having to keep notes on each one!
