Spot the wasp..........or hover fly........

I had a rendezvous with a Söderberg cinnamon bun this morning. It was a long overdue rendezvous because it also entailed a rendezvous with a friend of many years standing. The bun was all the more delicious for having been long overdue and our craic all the more interesting for having been eagerly anticipated.

Apart from the buying of balloons and a very chocolaty cake for a forthcoming big birthday it was a quiet day for me. It was very warm and muggy with spells of sunshine when I was happy to blip flowers in a neighbouring garden and recharge my flat batteries
