I had a fascinating chat today with a colleague who is thinking of taking up photography. Needless to say this site was one of my recommendations. I'm going to see if I can dig out some of the books I used early on to try to improve. 

Today was my last day before a few days annual leave. I've been looking forward to the time off; I feel tired. So to celebrate this evening I went down to the park. The sun had come out, and it was great to spend just half an hour down by the lake watching people make the most of the bright evening.
