River Derwent

This is the River Derwent, as it slides lazily through Malton, in North Yorkshire. We went on a thrift shopping trip, myself and my younger two.  Its a very charming town, clearly has some very wealthy people, judging by the mix of shops on offer.

The river is largely hidden; as you can see, there aren't really paths along side it. We had pulled into a car park with a disused warehouse at one side, and the river. 

When we got back I went for a walk with friends, so clocked up about 13000 steps, which isn't bad.
