Ashcombe Churchyard

I have to say that I struggle a little bit with the concept of patterns in photography. I'm aware that I'm a little stuck in my thinking about patterns made by man with his geometry set and look for repeats and rings rather than the more random patterns that nature continually leaves in the landscape. As I looked this afternoon I came upon the little church at Ashcombe that I've blipped before. I was pleased to see that the cyclamen are coming out and I thought that the scattering of purple among the gravestones might qualify for Wideangle Wednesday (hosted by BobsBlips) theme of patterns.

I like it myself so it's my offering for today.
