Sand sprite

Deceptive, I know, as this wave with creatures comes ashore.   This is a shelf of sand that drops off to the water.   Went to Sandy Beach to get a baseline for further action in the next couple of days.  Was going to show you the shoreline, but yes, this delighted me.  

Hurricane Lane update:
1900 hrs Wed, Lane is back down to a category 4 (winds 145 mph) and beginning to show signs of weakening (due to wind shear from our tradewinds) and (possibly) moving away from the islands.  Latest track shows no direct hit, but collateral damage potential.   Lots of places closing for the next couple of days.   Visuals from other islands are not bad so far.   Winds have increased here, but slightly.  Everyone is waiting, high alert is called for.
