Occasion(s)

A blip to prove that Mum's present is purchased and wrapped for her birthday even if it won't be delivered until Saturday. It's been a day for marking occasions with Year 11 collecting their results and a retirement dinner this evening for a colleague I have worked with for all of the time at my current school. The Y11s were generally philosophical about their results with virtually all getting what they needed; some not necessarily getting what they deserved based on how hard they had worked and some being surprisingly bothered - although perhaps a little late for it to make any significant difference to what was in their envelope. The friend and colleague was as gracious as ever and will be sorely missed.
