Pine Warbler Hop ...

... taken from our kitchen window--emulating a kangaroo :)  A Pine Warbler, probably a teenager. I followed him as he hopped every so often, shooting continually, and was delighted with this image. NB: previously I posted this as a Goldfinch--misidentified :(     Pat and Tif left this morning, and in the evening my second cousins Rebecca and Jeffrey came to dinner. Becca designed and mounted a wonderful exhibition last summer on the history of the Boyden's (my mother's family) in Tamworth, in conjunction with our family reunion. It was lovely to catch up with her.
