Hurricane Lane still here

Went out about 830AM to Sandy Beach but found both entrances roped off as well as Halona Blowhole.   Parked along the road and this shot is from the blowhole looking east to Sandy Beach (same view as yesterday's extra).  Wind is up, but I seem to have caught a loll in waves.
May not go out again, as many gas stations have already closed.  With questions about how soon they can be re-supplied afterwards, caution is advised.

Hurricane Lane update:
Downgraded again to a category 2, but still moving very slowly northward, no turn westward is evident.   Storm is supposed to severely impact Oahu tonite.   Winds are increasing with rain showers.   Sheltering at home for now.
Hurricane Lane update 2:  As of 1345 this afternoon, storm was downgraded to a category 1with winds 85 mph, gusts to 105mph.  It is beginning to break apart.   Experiencing more gusty winds, but no rain, sun is out.
2300 update:  Recently downgraded to a Tropical Storm (yea).  Winds 65mph, gusts75mph.  Breaking up and expecting to further track westward thru the nite.   Big Island still experiencing large amounts of rainfall, with new records being set for sure.   Rainfall continuing into Maui County, expected over Oahu tomorrow and thru the weekend.   Winds to drop to about 50mph by tomorrow.

I am so grateful for everyone's good wishes, which I am sure have succeeded in turning this storm from us.   Thank you to you all.
