The Lozarithm Lens

...After (Friday 24th August 2018)

The tree team returned as promised in the morning complete with a large trailer and a big chipper and finished thinning out the plum tree, to my neighbours' delight, and clearing up. They were finished by about 1045 hr.

The garden still looked woodlandy, as I wanted, but now a great deal more light can get in. Tom had done most of the pruning and had carefully kept the shape of all the trees he worked on, including the driveway yew, and I was very happy with the results.

The blip was taken from a similar spot to the previous day's and shows how the cotoneaster has been reduced and no longer spreads all over the car port and next door's garage, which will make a great difference to the garden.
