Galapagos Tea Towel

This is from my last trip to the Galapagos, in July 2010. It displays a surprising amount of information about the so-called Darwin's Finches, which from the perspective of evolution are probably the most interesting residents of that fascinating archipelago. (See a bigger view for the details.)

I displayed my own array of the finches' beaks in my gallery show last August. If you're still curious, I have a page of images from my first two Galapagos trips on my website.

Though I didn't consciously plan it, this serves as a bit of a prelude to tomorrow's trip to other Hispanic parts--stay tuned.
