In the Greenhouse

I’m rather pleased with things in the greenhouse. Some of the geraniums have succumbed to the frosts, but they should revive once the warm weather returns. There are plenty of greens to keep me going. The pak choi is young and fresh, and the three containers of baby spinach beet provide 2 or 3 meals a week. The broccoli is growing nicely and should be producing in 6 to 8 weeks. Recently I brought 4 containers of dormant chives in and they are bursting into life. Some of the flowers are there for protection, but others are just for colour.

The chair is an important addition. On cold days when the sun is shining that is the warmest place to be, so warm I have to wear a sunhat!
