La Vie à Quatre Roues! Jour 3

Rochefort-en-Terre, Brittany

After leaving Josselin, first stop of the day was Malestroit, another medieval town, and another of Brittany’s Petite Cité de Caractère. Time to wander the narrow streets and stroll along the river (see first two extras).

Not far away was our second stop, Rochefort-en-Terre, a beautiful historic village, full of colourful flowers and gorgeous ancient buildings, and also a Petite Cité de Caractère. By now the sun was out and the sky was blue, so after a cafe stop we went for a stroll around the village and browsed the craft shops (main photo and third extra).

After a quick stop in Redon to pick up a spare set of spark plugs (all good, touch wood!) it was straight to our campsite on the outskirts of Nantes, where our friendly resident baby robin was waiting to meet us, ready for his tea (see last extra). By now the temperature had reached 30 degrees, so we had a very quiet evening, resting up after a long couple of days...

(Thank you for your kind comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s blip. Sorry for my absence. A backblip posted on Jour 6 from Saumur; details are brief as we’ve seen so many sights since Jour 3 that I can’t quite remember what we did!)
