It's been a day mostly spent in the car to and from Timaru, so tonight's blip is a quickie featuring our boy Jack, pictured with a favourite log freshly purloined from the woodshed.

I'd like to think he's proof that not all border collies are intelligent, but sometimes he surprises me with his guile and smartness. You underestimate him at your peril! One thing about him always stands out; he is incredibly affectionate - I've never met a friendlier and more eager to please dog.

One thing he has got down pat though is that classic collie 'thousand yard stare', as seen here. It's a sign that there a plans afoot. In other words, watch out!!!
