Pictures

It was raining today, it rained all day, in fact it's still raining now. Enough moaning.

We went to the cinema this afternoon, a perfect escape on a damp Sunday afternoon.  The Children Act was showing at the Picture House. The film is of a high court judge, played by Emma Thompson, having to decide on a blood transfusion for a teenage boy whose family are Jehovah Witness and the consequences of her decision.

We parked up and walked through The Firs, gardens bequeathed to the town by Marie Corelli, where I took this photo of empty benches, unsurprisingly.  As we were a little early we had a drink at Nero before the film.

I've added the poster to the extras.
