Remembering Scott...

Dear Diary,

Had my husband Scott lived, today would have been our twentieth anniversary.  I love this photograph of him, just a week or two before our wedding in 1998,  He was so proud of his sunflowers!  He was a gardener too but vegetables were his thing.  My raised bed garden was his domain back then and it was filled with every sort of vegetable.

My Meditation Garden was his pumpkin patch.  I carried on with it for a short while after he died but eventually converted it over to perennials.  He was a man who loved nature in all respects and he always felt better outside than inside. I miss him very much but as he always said, "Life goes on, get on with it".
