Big Heart, Little Heart

Dear Diary,

Two weeks from today I land in Glasgow, Scotland!  I can't believe it is finally getting close.  I continue to experiment with my new little Canon and some creative apps on my iPad in preparation.  This one is called Color Splash which allows you to selectively desaturate your image.  My new Dutchman's Pipes vines on the potting shed made a good subject for it.

All I can do is sit in front of a fan and drink water in this unbearable heat.  They are promising some relief tomorrow.  It can't come soon enough for me.  I am totally useless and Emerson spends his day on the cooler tiles in the bathroom.  He's looking decidedly limp too!
