Snack Time

My neighbour rescued this little chap from a drainage hole and not being sure how long it had been trapped, he asked me what to give it to help it recover. Some water and a dish of mealworms were gobbled up very quickly.

Of course a healthy hedgehog should not be out in the daytime so we shall put some extra food out near to where it was released, with the intention of helping it along for a few days. Of course there no telling who might eat the extra snacks but we can only try.

Preparations for Saturday’s party are steaming along. The windows have been cleaned, the garden tidied, the beds made, the provisions purchased and the cooking has commenced. Broadly we are all cooking a course each with a little mix n match along the way. Tonys been doing work experience at Linklaters but he’s done his part in the evenings.

Tomorrow will be a big prep day until 4 when Mum & Dad arrive, then an evening relaxing hopefully and an early night ready for the big day. We are all very excited.
