Thought I'd Caught A Wave*

This lovely moth settled in an unusually open position on a burdock seedhead when Ollie dog and I disturbed it on our early morning walk. Moths usually fly and land on the underside of leaves making them difficult to capture. I think this might be one of the waves. Maybe a cream or satin wave? Mine has a slight touch of pink. I read that one of the waves has this but can't find the page where I read it again. :(

* PS Just seen (1st September) on Twitter a pic of a mother of pearl moth taken by Ian Beavis @TWBC_Museum. It looks quite similar to mine, which has that nacreous sheen and he notes that the larvae feed on nettles. My burdock plant is in a bed of nettles.
