Saturday: Ljubljana Street

Our friends, Frank n' Bev, are visiting us for a long weekend so we have come up to Ljubljana for an overnight stay.  We always try and have cuisines here that we can't get in Zagreb so we had burritos for lunch and Thai red curry for dinner.  K. and I are most delighted but I suspect that Frank n' Bev can't see what all the fuss is about!

It is getting decidedly chilly and wintery here but the Slovenians and Croatians are hardy folk and will sit outside no matter what.  It was 3 degrees as we walked back to our hotel but we decided to stop off for a nightcap and sit outside too.  Blankets were provided and as we were sitting under an outdoor heater we couldn't have been cosier or toastier! I can recommend this sitting outdoors in winter lark, providing the equipment is right!
