Fallow Friday

There are a remarkable number of flies in this picture, but the fallow deer  here at Dyrham Park seem well used to them. 

Though these seem quite unconcerned at the camera they were clearly aware of the equally remarkable number of visitors wandering around today, and didn't come at all close.

Later, we had a lovely barbecue in the back garden with Charlie, Cheryl, Avalon, Ryan and Baby Ivy, as the red Moon sailed up over the horizon
