Pressmennan to Garvald

It's almost the 2nd Saturday of the month, and we're planning a return to East Lothian for our walk on Saturday 8th

- meeting in the main car park at the Southern-end of Pressmennan Lake/Pressmennan Woods (see snap!); all of which is off the B6370 (via the A1 from Edinburgh)
- some travel directions below & also available via:
https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/visiting-woods/wood-information/pressmennan-wood/

By car
Leave the A1 at the Thistly Cross roundabout outside Dunbar and follow the B6370 for about 4.8km (three miles) to Stenton. Turn left at the end of the village (in front of a primary school) and after 1.5km (just under a mile) you will see a brown sign for Pressmennan Wood on the left. There is a car park for eight cars at the end of the track.

By bus
Bus services are limited. Pressmennan Wood is around a 1.5km (under one mile) walk from the bus stop in Stenton, along unclassified road and rough track. For up-to-date information on public transport, visit Traveline, or telephone 0871 200 2233.
