National Football Museum

Back blip

Another trip out with family...

...which possibly could have started out better if the younger rascal hadn’t been up at 3:30...

But hey, sleep is for wimps.

The football museum was a bit much for no.2 son, but I must say the staff were very lovely. They all seemed very naturally tuned in to kids with extra needs and their website was great beforehand with an autism awareness booklet explaining what you might see on a visit etc. It wasn’t too noisy, which I was expecting, but it was visually very busy, lots of video screens and bright images, which I think had quite an impact.

Anyway, no.1 got to play interactive games, whilst being supervised by Family Helpers and I took no.2 son outside in the sunshine- he read a bit of his book and fortuitously managed to coordinate a meet up with Mr CleanSlate, in his lunch break, for a few minutes :-D
