A sunrise!

I have been wanting to try photographing a sunrise, after viewing so many beautiful ones on Blip, recently RobBris50 has been posting some beautiful sunrises.

I learned so much today, most importantly, be at the planned destination before the app says the sun will rise.  It is already up by then!  This old oak tree has been a favorite for a long time.  A very large limb broke off last winter and the poor thing has a empty spot now.  Mount Saint Helens is way in the background.
