Suddenly Autumn

We drove my sister to Vienna airport this morning. I will miss her but she is going at a good time as our weather has already turned and Melbourne will be starting to warm up as spring kicks in. Today was cooler, misty and wet but we desperately need the rain after a long hot and dry summer. The countryside is already looking autumnish with stubble fields, dried corn and pumpkins waiting to be harvested. The month has flashed by almost as quickly as the landscape flashed by on our drive. The extra is a typical sight in autumn of a self service roadside stand with pumpkins for eating and decoration.
When we arrived home Hubby still had a couple of hours to start laying the pavers (in the rain). I will Blip the progress tomorrow.
