Really Gaylord?

Dear Diary,

Gaylord sat himself right down on the edge of the seed bowl; it was so comical!  I've never seen him do this before.  Talk about two feet in the trough!  He usually prefers sitting outside the bowl and scooping the seeds out with a paw.  He looks like he is building up a good layer of fat for the coming winter too.  He must be the best fed squirrel in Maine!

I feel bad leaving my little ones when I go on my trip.  I will have to double up feedings before and after.  I will be back in plenty of time for them to make up for the lost time before the weather turns bad.  I think with that nice layer of fat, Gaylord will do just fine until I return.
