Lane End

Superb misty sunrise this morning as the spaniel and I came through the woods following the medieval, probably even older, lane that led from Lewes to East Grinstead. I'm not sure why its known as 'Lane End' but it may be because the lane ends where it crosses the river Ouse at Sheffield Bridge about a mile to the north.
