Black Beetle Silhouette

1st September or 22nd September  -  when does Autumn start? Meteorologically the 1st September  -  so we’re already in Autumn according to the WeatherladyJ  this link makes it clear!  Definitely Autumn weather today -  10 degrees C and raining, and the leaves are beginning to fall from my Sycamore tree. This black Beetle came in from the cold  -  found him sitting on my doormat!  Took him in and sat him on my lightpad  -  I took about twenty shots while he was running around  -  this was the best because his Legs, Antennae and Mandibles show up clearly.  Thank you, Swannie and Paola, for your suggestion that I add it to the Mono Monday challenge.  Have added it now!
