What a scorcher today! We took a picnic and drove the 25 miles up to Cuil Bay, near Duror, one of our favourite local beaches. We took a couple of folding chairs and sat like a pair of old fogies on the grass at the top of the beach and roasted. Almost too hot to sit.
We stuck it out for a few hours, enjoyed our picnic and read for a while. I got Mrs M to pose by the sea just to show how busy it was! And to think that people fly hundreds of miles to sit on a beach with twice the heat, fifty times the noise and a thousand times the people! How lucky are we!
Maybe I forgot to mention the sheep. And the geese.
